Dr. Melissa Kounine is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon. She has been in practice in the Portland area since 2010.

Originally from New York, Dr. Kounine did her undergraduate and graduate work in Boston, then went to medical school in Maine. Her orthopedic residency training took her to Texas and Philadelphia. She completed a fellowship in Orthopedic Oncology at the University of Miami Medical Center, in Miami, Florida. She then worked at the University of Toledo Medical Center, in Toledo, Ohio, before moving to Portland in 2010.
